America’s New Pastime; Watch Death Video, Riot, Burn Police Stations, Loot Businesses
Steam Control. As we watch the end of The Republic and it’s death throws play out in real time, which seems a sort of train wreck slow motion, we note some key elements of that as related to the George Floyd death; deliberate racial division, militarization of the police, and hysteria spread by mass media.
As Reported Here on our own Facebook page, is the video that sparked mass violent riots across the US; by now everybody knows how it shows former Minneapolis Police Department officer Derek Chauvin, in a bizarre pose/position, like a cowboy at a rodeo kneeling on a calf during a calf-roping competition. Except he wasn’t a cowboy at a rodeo, and he wasn’t roping a calf, he was arresting a man, a citizen of Minnesota. It lead to the the death of Floyd George.
For God’s official record of faith and redemption, we pray for everyone directly involved in this tragedy, and for the people indirectly affected, and all God’s people everywhere.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. All in one.
Beware of anyone who tries to portray the George Floyd tragedy as a racial incident, just another example of racism, police racism, systematic racism etc.
That’s all just “steam control” and the macro extortion and racial division of US society.
Our job is to be objective, albeit satirical, in reporting. In that spirit, let us start objectively, with the two key men involved, George Floyd, and Derek Chauvin.
It says something, we leave it to the reader to decide exactly what, but as soon as the initial reports about George Floyd started coming in, you could see a glaring attempt to portray him as a virtual saint; a “Gentle Giant” is what he was, we were told.
Just a sweet, peaceful fellow who had overcome any youthful indiscretions, and moved to Minneapolis to dedicate his life to doing the right thing, working hard, paying his taxes and following the rules! That was the image of Floyd George we were presented with.
On the other hand, there was the record of armed home invasion back in Texas, a plea deal for five years, the report said. And Floyd was an unemployed bouncer, a guy who got paid to deal with and scrap with if necessary, any unruly or drunk customers of a nightclub. Hmmm.
With all due respect, the objective view is that Floyd George was a low level thug and nightclub enforcer, not very successful; he made his living with his brute force abilities, being dangerous and able to handle violence.
We believe there should be an element of compliment in that characterization, as Floyd had indeed overcome some serious trouble in Texas, successfully moved to Minnesota, and if the Coronavirus had not come, or the businesses in Minneapolis not been shut down, making Floyd financially unstable, he would still be alive. Without being unemployed, Floyd would not have been out there, allegedly, messing with any bad checks or counterfeit currency or anything like that.
He would have been making money at the club.
But, Floyd ran into Derek Chavez. Was it pure coincidence? Bad luck? Was Chavez out looking for anyone black that he could execute? Was Floyd endangering himself, by allegedly being very intoxicated in public?
Derek Chauvin. In this case there were few encouraging initial reports, trying to present Chauvin as a hero first responder, veteran police officer, etc. Right away the media was onto the prior reports of complaints against him during his 19 year long career.
Objectively, Chauvin was a militarized police officer, a low level uninformed thug, a soldier in the standing army that the Framers of The Constitution warned us about. Once again, that’s with all due respect–the guy put on a police uniform for nineteen years, perhaps he started out wanting to do good, and just got twisted by the job. Unfortunately, Chauvin was a tool, he seemed to know it, and he relished it; but he just wasn’t smart enough to realize that even cops can’t kill people on video in front of crowds for no reason, and just get away with it.
There are only two theories about the truth of the George Floyd case, that make any sense. One, the cop, Chauvez, was a psychopath, who has been militarized and conditioned to dehumanize any of the people he takes into custody. A tragic accident where Chauvez will claim, with some justification, that he was just following his “training.”
Or, Chauvez killed Floyd deliberately. Also because of being a psychopath, with a badge and a gun, but in this scenario because of some nefarious connection between him and Floyd, where we speculate they both could have been involved in some kind of counterfeiting scam or some other extra legal activity.
The truth is often stranger than fiction, as we stress. Rouge cops. Nightclub underworld. Club bouncers. Scams. Killing. It has the ring of a cheap detective novel about it.
Mad Max Dog Whistle
However bizarre the story is about how Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd while a crowd of bystanders watched, videotaped, and pleaded with the police officer to stop and help the injured Floyd, the story goes even farther off the reservation, if possible, in how blame for the incident is placed squarely on “racism” and even in particular on POTUS Trump!
As Reported Here Maxine Waters tests the boundaries of credibility, irony and projection by claiming in a dog whistle message to encourage racial discord and violence, that POTUS Trump sends dog whistle messages encouraging white supremacy and racial violence.
Twitter Censors POTUS
And to top of the lunacy that is the current news, As Reported Here Twitter is now censoring POTUS Trump’s tweets. Correct, the executive and legal team at Twitter have decided that for the public safety of the citizens of the United States, they must censor the tweets of the President of The United States.
It’s hard to understand how these tech companies, FANG plus Twitter, get away with such blatant abuses of their own customers privacy and fair usage rights. They just can’t help themselves from trying to manipulate everyones opinions and political debate.
One key element is that the service they offer is free; the basic model for Twitter, Facebook, Google, is to offer something free–their “community” or social media platform/websites, then make money by selling the personal information of the users.
You have to at least acknowledge the greedy genius of Facebook and Twitter, who get the public to create content for them for free, then sell the personal information of the people who create the content, then sell all that including the content back to everyone else. That’s the kind of sick genius that creates monopolies that are a threat to our economy and must be broken up. Or intensely regulated.
In this case, the solution is not to try to break up Facebook, or Twitter, but to regulate them so intensely that they cannot be used for partisan purposes, and Mark Zuckerberg goes crazy at being forced to be fair and share with conservatives.
